Meet 3dpolyx: one studio, one standard

Why we built a curated catalogue instead of another open marketplace, and what you can expect from every model on the shelf.

Meet 3dpolyx: one studio, one standard
On this page

If you have ever bought a 3D model online, you probably know the feeling. The preview looks great. You pay, download, open the file, and then the real work begins. The scale is wrong. The textures are missing or named "Material.004". The mesh is ten times heavier than it needs to be. Half an hour later you are fixing someone else's asset instead of building your own project.

3dpolyx exists to remove that half hour.

A studio catalogue, not a flea market

Most 3D marketplaces are open platforms. Anyone can upload, and quality depends on who made each file. That model has its strengths: huge choice, many styles. But it also means every purchase is a small gamble.

We took a different route. Everything in the 3dpolyx catalogue is made and checked by one studio. Topology, naming, scale and texture sets follow the same rules from model to model. If you like how one of our models behaves in your scene, the next one will behave the same way.

That consistency matters most when you combine assets. A cosy living room built from our Oak Sideboard, sofa, lamps and plants will look like one scene, not a collage of five different artists with five different ideas about lighting and texture density.

What you get with every model

We keep the offer simple, so you know exactly what you are paying for before you click "Buy":

  • One GLB file per model. A single, self-contained file with geometry and textures inside. It opens in Blender, Unity, Unreal, Godot and Three.js.

  • PBR textures. Base colour, metallic and roughness maps, so the model reacts correctly to light in modern engines.

  • Clear specs up front. Triangle and vertex counts, texture type and licence are listed on every product page.

  • A 3D viewer on every page. Orbit, zoom and pan the actual model before you buy, not just a rendered thumbnail.

  • Instant access. Your files are available right after payment.

  • Re-download any time. Every purchase stays in your account library.

Who we make models for

Our catalogue is built for people who need good-looking assets quickly and do not want to model every chair from scratch:

  • Indie game developers filling a level with props, vehicles and buildings.

  • Motion designers and animators who need a friendly, stylised object for a product video or explainer.

  • Archviz and interior artists dressing a room with furniture, plants and décor.

  • Web developers adding a 3D scene to a landing page with Three.js or model-viewer.

  • Teachers, students and hobbyists learning 3D with clean, well-built examples.

What is in the catalogue

The library is organised into categories you can browse in a few clicks: Home & Interior, Toys & Playroom, Buildings & Miniatures, Animals & Pets, Vehicles, Dioramas, Plants & Garden, Kitchen & Food, Hobby, Sports & Music, Gadgets & Tech, and Seasonal & Holidays.

The style is warm and slightly stylised: clean shapes, soft colours and enough detail to hold up in a close-up. Think of a Red Double-Decker Bus for a city scene, a Lakeside Log Cabin Diorama for a hero shot, or a Sitting Teddy Bear for a children's app.

New models are added every week, so the catalogue keeps growing.

Simple pricing, no subscriptions

You pay per model. There are no subscriptions, credits, packs or top-ups. Each model has a fixed price shown on its page, and the purchase includes the right to use it in personal and commercial projects under our Terms.

We believe this is the fairest model for small studios and freelancers: you buy exactly what your project needs and nothing more.

Who runs 3dpolyx

The shop is operated by SILVERPEAK INNOVATIONS LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom. We are the seller of record for every order, which means you deal with one company for payment, files and support.

If you have a question about a model, a payment or your account, write to support@3dpolyx.com. Every message is read by a real person.

What comes next

This blog is where we will share how our models are made, practical tutorials for popular engines, and ideas for using ready-made assets in real projects. Start with the store, spin a few models in the viewer, and see if our standard fits your work.
